Heeb Magazine uppger att Madonnas spalt i tidningen går under namnet "Esther", det namn Madonna antog när hon började följa den gren av fusk-kabbalah med fokus på röda band och dyrt (heligt) vatten som även en rad andra Hollywoodpersonligheter anammade för några år sedan. Liksom Madonna plockar fram sin judiska sida i perioder gör även Britney Spears det, hon sågs tidigare denna månad bära en Magen David, något som hon även gjorde för ett par år sedan, i samband med vänskapen med Madonna och den felstavade hebreiska tatueringen i nacken (den är nu borta)... Frågan är, om Madonna och Britney fortfarande är så pass coola att en massa kids kommer vilja efterapa dem och börja ha judiska saker för sig? Eller, är dessa kändisars fascination för judendom bara en fluga baserad på missförstånd (när de tröttnat på spikmattor, skinnbyxor och dylikt), och deras judiskhet inte djupare än att det är kul att vara jude för att man får ha snygga smycken och konstiga namn?
